Dr Gomes is a physician, educator, and catalyst for continuous improvement in healthcare. His journey began early, fueled by a passion for helping and teaching others. He specializes in thoracic pathology and focuses on piecing together complex puzzles and understanding the human experience behind each case to get to the right diagnoses.
He is a clinical leader, committed to improving how healthcare teams work and learn together – the beginnings of Logic Path. He designs programs that empower healthcare professionals to work and learn together. Trust and collaboration are central to his efforts in developing healthy and adaptive Communities of Practice to deliver care in ever changing and complex healthcare systems. As a Fellow with the Social Learning Lab in Sesimbra, Portugal, he continues to hone his craft, ensuring his efforts deliver meaningful impact and results. Dr. Gomes has shaped medical education standards nationally and internationally, connecting diverse healthcare settings and promoting engaging and effective learning methods. His scholarly articles and conference talks resonate across borders.
